The rich gets richer, and the poor gets poorer. An old man once told me that he'd rather just die than fall sick in Singapore. When I asked him why, his reply is if he just die, his kids only have to pay for the funeral, but if he fall sick, then his kids have to pay for both the hospital bills and the funeral.
The poor sees $600,000 as a fortune that can last them for life, but the rich sees $600,000 only as a peanut and it's really sad that our government is demanding for more peanuts this year.
